Bailing

In UACS (scoreboard) games , if a player bails (due to a game crash or for other reasons)it's up to the bailed player's team to decide whether to stop the game or go on outnumbered, since being outnumbered gives more points (check the "General League Rules").
In case they want to stop the game, they must say "HOLD" and everyone has to stop (any kills after the "HOLD" don't count). Score must be written down, after which everyone returns to the Zone and waits for the bailed player for up to 10 minutes.
If the player returns, the game will go on from the point where it stopped and until the previous score or time cap will be reached (i.e. if a 20 score game was stopped at 10 to 5, it will take 10 scores for the winning team until end game and 15 scores for the losing team).
If the player does not return, the team may choose a different player that is online on the zone to fill in. If there is no such player available, the team may either agree to go on outnumbered after all, the outnumbering team may agree to drop a player to make it even, or the game gets dropped (not counts anywhere).
Another option if the player doesn't return is, if both sides agree, submit the score as is. I doubt such an agreement will often be reached, though (the losing side will most often object).
In UAC-PPC (planetary) games, if a player bails, the game stops right there. Score must be written down, after which everyone returns to the Zone and waits for the bailed player for up to 10 minutes.
If the player returns, the game will go on from the point where it stopped and until the previous score or time cap will be reached.
If the player does not return, the team may choose a different player that is online on the zone to fill in. If there is no such player available, the only two ways to go from there is either drop the game and replay it some other time or the outnumbering team must drop a player to make it even (see "General League Rules" - all planetary battles must be even).
In both UACS and UAC-PPC, the two sides reach an agreement on whether same mechs should be used or not. In case they can not reach an agreement, anyone is free to choose whatever new mech they desire, however, map and game type always has to remain the same.

Maps Selection
|
uac
|
In UACS (scoreboard) games, the map is up to the host of the game. It can be any of the available maps, as long as all players involved have it.
In UAC-PPC (Prime Planetary Combat), the map is, again, up to the host (planet owner), but it has to be a map that's present on that planet (check Planets Info for that). Map selection is independent of the sector number which the fight is on.
All maps used on the planets can be downloaded from The Mobile Fiend Base.

Battle Types
|
uac
|
In UACS (scoreboard) games, the battle types are denoted as a combination of the below named denoters (in order of general to particular):
$ - Any weapon
E - Energy Weapons (excluding flamers)
G - All Guns (any auto cannons, mguns or gauss)
M - All Missiles (lrm, srm or streak, note - narc is not a weapon and can always be used)
F - Flamers
U - Mguns*
Stock - Stock Type
Now, the battle types are as follows. You can either use "Type $ - M,F" to denote a type where Everything except Missiles and Flamers can be used, or you can do the same by using "Type E,G". For stock games, just use "Type Stock".
To give an additional example, "Type E,F" would be a game with Energy and Flamers only (essentially, a C1 game).
* Mguns have their own denoter since they create lag for some people with low RAM and there might be a need to exclude them (example - "Type $ - U" would mean everything besides mguns).
Note!!! In UAC-PPC (planetary) games, the battles are always of type $, that is Anything Goes.

Game Start
|
uac
|
In UACS (scoreboard) games, when game starts all players must wait (not fire and not move more than approximately 3-5 mech lengths), until everyone is in. When you are in game, type "Rdy" or "Ready". Once everyone types that, the HOST and ONLY THE HOST says "Go" and the fight starts.
In UAC-PPC (planetary) games, fight begins on drop. You may move and fire at will.
Welcome to the formal challenges section.
There can only be 1 challenge of each type (score, sector, takeover) per week for any unit challenged (the challenger unit can post as many chalenges as desired to different units, could be even within 1 post but units have to be listed).
Any challenge posted here must be replied to within a week from the challenge post date. Preferably it should also be fought within that week. Challnger decides on the game type, or it can be left to the challenged unit. As for the map, the challenger can suggest one, but it is always up to the challenged unit whether to accept that map or decide on a different one.
A reply to a challenge post can either include an agreement on battle time, or another arrangement on fighting the battle. The fight can be scheduled later than during that week if the challenger unit agrees.
If not replied to within a week, the team challenged is considered forfeiting that battle. If that happens, in case of a score battle, the unit loses 100 points to the challenger unit; in case of a planetary sector battle, loses the sector; and in case of a planetary takeover battle, loses the planet.
Any member of a league unit can issue a challenge for his/her unit.
However, if the challenge does not get honored, the challenger's unit representative needs to confirm in order to receive the 100 points, and also needs to post the "minus" points for the forfeiting unit when cycle stats are due.
PLEASE NOTE: Every new challenge must be posted as a separate topic, not a reply to one. In the subject it must state the name of the unit which is challenged, name of the challenger, and type of challenge (plus, if applicable, a game type).
For instance, subjects such as "GWA challenges The Boogers for a sector on Kyosban", "EMC challenges The Horsemen for a scoreboard game type $-M", "AMH challenges LOD for a planetary takeover of Nox" are valid.
As for the challenge (post) itself, it should include elaboration on the challenge, a convenient time to fight and any other comments a challenger wishes to make.
Best of luck on the battlefield.
